What happened to the Make Ready Market (food hall) location?
That location has closed. Make Ready Market is where Thai Bird was born — and it helped shape everything that followed. While the food hall was no longer the right long-term fit, we’re grateful for the community and memories made there.
The good news? Everything you loved (and more) lives on at our Alamo Heights location — including rotisserie chicken, gluten-free mini donuts, Pad Thai, curry, WineStations, and events. Plus, new location plans are already in motion. Stay tuned.

How long does it take for my online order to be ready?
Most online orders are ready in about 15–20 minutes, depending on how busy the kitchen is. When placing your order, you will receive an estimated time and you’ll get an update as soon as your order is complete.
Do you serve alcohol?
We do — and it’s a vibe.
Thai Bird features a curated wine selection, select beers, plus self-serve WineStations (at Alamo Heights). Sip by the glass, grab a bottle, or check out the Wine Club.
Are your donuts available all day?

Wine Club
Do you have a Wine Club?
Yes! Members get monthly bottles, tasting parties, event perks, WineStation recharge vouchers, and first dibs on all the fun. Learn more on our Wine Club page.
How are the wines selected?
Our Wine Club boxes are curated by our owner, a certified sommelier. Selections will be fun, seasonal and unique!
When are Wine Club pickups?
Pick-ups happen on the first Tuesday of every month, 4–7 PM at our Alamo Heights location. These casual wine club events are all about great bottles, easy conversation, and free tastings.
What if I can't make my pickup on the first Tuesday of the month?
All good! We’ll happily hold your Wine Club selections for up to 21 days. After that, unclaimed bottles may be released back into inventory. Think of it as motivation to stop by, sip a little using your free voucher, and say hi.
When is my monthly Wine Club membership charged?
Memberships are charged automatically on the 24th of each month, so your wines are ready for the upcoming pick-up.
Can I bring someone who isn’t a Wine Club member?
Absolutely. Pick-up parties are meant to be shared. Bring a friend along — non-members are welcome to sip, socialize, enjoy the complimentary tasting, and learn about the wines directly from our guest wine rep. It’s the best way to experience the Wine Club vibe firsthand and see what we’re all about before joining.
What is a WineStation?
Our WineStation is a self-serve wine bar experience that lets you explore curated wines at your own pace. Choose a 2oz tasting pour, a 4oz half glass, or a 6oz full glass — it’s an easy, interactive way to discover new favorites without the pressure.
How does the WineStation work?
Grab a rechargeable wine card at the counter, select your pour size, tap the screen, and enjoy. Try a sip, find a favorite, or pour a full glass — it’s simple, fun, and totally on your terms.
Do I need to be a Wine Club member to use the WineStation?
Not at all! The WineStation is open to everyone. Wine Club members just get extra perks (like monthly credits and special pricing).
How do I cancel my Wine Club membership?
Go to your account and cancel anytime. We do require a 30-day cancellation.
